Art Nouveau 14kt Mine Cut Diamond Repousse Bangle Bracelet 2.25ctw
A gorgeous bangle bracelet from the Art Nouveau (ca1909) era! The slip-on style bangle is crafted in 14kt gold and features a lovely repousse motif. The flowing design covers the entire surface of the bracelet, creating a graceful pattern of swirls and feminine flowers that give lovely texture to the appearance. A row of three mine cut diamonds are set across the front of the bangle, adding a beautiful sparkle! The center diamond weighs approximately .85ct, and has estimated I-J range color and SI1 range clarity. The outer two diamonds weigh approximately .70ct each, and have I-J range color and VS2 range clarity. Engraved inside the bangle is an inscription that reads "Fred to Katie with Love Xmas 1909" and a "14K" stamp. A spectacular antique piece, it would make a stylish addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The interior of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/2" wide and 2 1/8" tall, and would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. The surface of the bracelet measures 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold repousse setting or to any of the three diamonds, which are intact and securely set.
