Art Nouveau 14kt Moonstone Cabochon Ring
A stunning moonstone ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! This lovely piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold, and features an oval moonstone cabochon resting at its center. The bezel set moonstone displays an alluring translucent quality, exhibiting a pale blue color and a strong iridescent flash. The gold setting is simple yet beautiful, featuring a flowing scrolled motif that comes to a point at the top and bottom and soft cutouts at the shoulders, blending seamlessly into the simple graduated band. A very attractive ring, it would be perfect for everyday wear and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.25, but could easily be re-sized. The front of the ring (where the moonstone rests and including its ornate gold frame) measures approximately 5/8" tall and 1/2" wide. When worn, the ring rests 3/8" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the moonstone, which is intact and securely set.
