Art Nouveau 14kt Pearl & Diamond Lavalier Pendant
An elegant lavalier pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This delicate piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a beautiful curvilinear design with a lovely cutout center. Delicate natural seed pearls line the gold framework, and four larger natural pearls adorn the center and tips of the piece, the largest pearl dangling freely from the bottom. All of the pearls a a rich, shimmery and wonderful natural luster. A single prong set diamond rests at the top of the piece, adding a wonderful and delicate sparkle! The pendant hangs from a complimentary seed pearl bail at the top, and would look wonderful worn on a fine gold chain. The underside of the pendant is stamped "14K" and "MW". A beautiful example of Art Nouveau jewelry, this gorgeous lavalier pendant would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2" long, is 3/4" at the widest point and has a depth of approximately 1/8” at its thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or bail, and all of the pearls are intact.
