Art Nouveau 18kt Mixed Metals Diamond Engagement Ring 0.22ct
A lovely and unusual diamond engagement ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! This beautiful ring features an old Mine Cut diamond that sits atop a stunning 18kt mixed metals mounting. The diamond is prong set in a box setting and has an approximate weight of 0.22ct, with approximate H-I range color and SI2 clarity. Resting within the gorgeous mounting are yellow and rose gold accents, including 2 appliqué flowers that rest on each shoulder. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wirework and a beautiful etched design that carries down the shoulders of the band. The inside shank of the ring is stamped "18K". If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by a GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. It would make a stunning engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of a small size 8 but could easily be re-sized. When worn, the ring sits about 1/4" atop your finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond is intact.
