Art & Crafts Era 14kt Mixed Metals Cabochon Turquoise Ring
A fabulous turquoise ring from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910) period! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this striking ring displays a prominently featured turquoise cabochon that is prong set and rests in the center. The beautiful ornate setting has flowing gold wirework and bead work and the four corners are accented with subtle sterling details. The smooth turquoise stone has an elongated oval shape and exhibits a gorgeous sea green color, with naturally occurring tan inclusions that give it a marbled look. The shank is stamped "585". An eye-catching piece, it makes a wonderful statement when worn and would be a fashionable addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25 but could be easily re-sized. The turquoise cabochon (including the mixed metals frame) measures 1 1/8" tall, 3/4" wide, and is 1/2" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the setting or turquoise cabochon, which is intact.
