Art Nouveau Sterling Large Moonstone + Ruby Pendant
A lovely moonstone pendant from the Art Nouveau (ca1910) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in sterling silver and has a simple drop design. A large moonstone cabochon hangs from the bottom, held within a sterling prong set frame. The moonstone has a gorgeous pearlescent appearance and a soft, light blue flash. The top of the pendant is formed by a triangular-shaped link which features beaming geometric cutouts and three vibrant rubies set vertically at the center. The rubies have exquisite raspberry color, pairing beautifully with the clear blue moonstone. The bold design is finished with a sterling bail at the top, allowing the pendant to be easily hung from a favorite chain. A simple, yet feminine design, this beautiful pendant would look lovely worn everyday!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 2" long from top to bottom. The moonstone cabochon measures 5/8" wide, 3/4" tall and a little more than 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the moonstone and ruby stones, all of which are intact.
