Arts & Crafts Sterling & Natural Oxblood Coral Bracelet
A beautiful oxblood coral bracelet from the Arts & Crafts era (ca1900)! Made of sterling silver, this wonderful piece consists of 6 decorative links that form a very artistic bracelet. Set within the face of each link are five smooth oxblood coral cabochons, which are bezel set and display a rich, vivid color that is natural and not dyed. The base of each link has a textured sterling design resembling feathers, and delicate beadwork is interspersed throughout, adding a wonderful accent. A secure push clasp fastens the bracelet together, and the underside is stamped "STERLING". Enhancing the design is a natural patina that gives further depth to the silver. A beautiful statement piece, it would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long and would fit an average sized wrist. Each decorative link measures approximately 7/8" wide and tall and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to any of the oxblood coral stones, all of which are intact. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver that gives it an antiqued look, which is normal for a turn-of-the-century piece and adds depth to the design.
