BAILEY BANKS & BIDDLE 14kt Jade & Sapphire Ring
An absolutely gorgeous jade and sapphire ring from the Retro (ca1940) era! The ring, which is made of 14kt yellow gold, is by legendary maker Bailey, Banks & Biddle and has a cabochon jade stone set within the center. The stone, which is oval in shape, has luscious, soft green color and is bezel set within the mounting which has a wide, graduating band. The gold mounting has soft yellow color and 6 French cut sapphires rest on the shoulders. The combination of the 3 colors is absolutely wonderful and the ring looks beautiful when worn. The shank is stamped "198", "14K" and "BBB". It's a lovely ring and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.75 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the jade and sapphire stones, all of which are intact.
