BLACK, STARR & FROST Edwardian Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 0.67ct
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! From legendary American jewelry maker Black, Starr & Frost, this beautiful ring is crafted in platinum and adorns a single old European Cut diamond at the center. The stone is held in a solitaire style 8-prong setting and weighs 0.67ct with I color and VS2 clarity. Elegant hand-engraved texture travels gracefully along the sides of the tapered band, creating a lovely flowing design. The shank is stamped with the Black, Starr & Frost hallmark "B. S & F 2". A classically beautiful design, it would make a perfect vintage engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75, but could be easily resized. The diamond rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamond, which is intact and securely set.
