Art Deco Sterling Carved Coral & Enamel Floral Motif Ring
A beautiful and unusual coral ring from the Art Deco (ca1930) era! This striking piece is very substantial in size and has quite an artistic design. At the center of the sterling silver setting is a hand-carved coral plaque, which is intricately detailed with a lovely floral motif. The coral has a vibrant natural color and depicts three blooming flowers with delicate 3-dimensional detail representing their petals and centers. Surrounding the coral plaque is a bold enamel border with a rich, glossy black finish. The contrast between the vivid coral and black border is quite dramatic! Completing the design is a simple sterling silver setting that includes swirled wirework at each shoulder and a wire band. A fabulous statement ring, this stylish piece would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a small finger size of 4.75, but could easily be resized if needed.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling mounting or to the natural coral stone, and the enamel is in good condition and free of scratches or chips.
