Art Deco Sterling & Chrysoprase Teardrop Earrings
A lovely pair of chrysoprase teardrop earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, each earring has a dangling design that features polished chrysoprase stones. The chrysoprase has luscious vivid green color, which stands out dramatically when paired with the simple sterling setting! A round chrysoprase cabochon rests at the top, connected to a simple earring wire. The elongated teardrop links dangle freely below, adding lovely movement to the design. When worn, they hang long and frame the face beautifully. A colorful and classically stylish design, these earrings would make a unique addition to any vintage jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2" long (including the wire tops), and measures approximately 1/4" at its widest and thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or earring wires, which are secure. The chrysoprase stones are intact, securely set, and free of any apparent chips or scratches.
