Victorian 14kt Natural Coral Cluster Necklace
A fabulous coral conversion necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This wonderful compilation piece was originally a Victorian brooch that has been converted into a pendant, and now hangs from a lovely 14kt gold Victorian chain. The natural coral beads have a rich salmon color and form a decorative cluster, which is set on a gold frame and is quite substantial in size. The braided gold chain is attached to either side of the pendant, complimenting the centerpiece perfectly and fastening with a barrel push clasp in the back. When worn, it makes a wonderful statement piece that would delight any coral lover!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 21" long. The large center pendant measures 2 3/8" wide, 1 1/2" tall, and is 3/4" at the deepest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or coral beads, all of which are intact. The chain and push clasp are secure and in good working condition.
