Late Art Deco Diamond Engagement Ring 4.11ct
An incredible diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This stunning platinum ring holds a sparkling 4.11ct Round Brilliant Cut GIA Certified diamond at the center of a beautiful wirework mounting. The diamond is prong set and exhibits K/L color and VVS2 clarity. The mounting features sixteen accent diamonds set within an exquisite filigree design, complete with fine wirework, artistic cutouts, and delicate milgrain detail. Collectively, these diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.60ctw. An elegant engraved wheat design travels along the sides of the ring, completing the lovely Deco design. Accompanying the ring is an appraisal from an accredited GIA appraiser from April, 2021.When worn, the ring is positively radiant, delivering a spectacular sparkle. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 1/2 but could easily be resized if desired. The center stone rests a little more than 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
