Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagmenent Ring 2.16ct
An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful piece has a lovely "step-up" style mounting with three rows of diamonds on each shoulder and a gorgeous old European Cushion Cut diamond in the center. The center diamond is held within a double prong setting and weighs 2.16ct with J color and SI2 clarity. Resting on the "steps" of each shoulder of the ring are 12 old Mine Cut diamonds in a bead setting, which accent the center stone perfectly. These smaller diamonds weigh approximately 0.50ctw with H-K range color and VS-SI1 range clarity. The side of the mounting displays an attractive airline, and delicate engraved detail completes the beautiful Art Deco design. Accompanying the center stone is an official diamond grading report issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), which confirms the stated carat weight, color, and clarity grades above. If requested, a complimentary appraisal issued by an independent and accredited GIA graduate gemologist can be completed after purchase for insurance purposes. It's a truly gorgeous and classically beautiful piece that would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
