A striking pair of devil face cufflinks from the Early Retro (ca1930s-1940) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, each of these fantastic cufflinks depicts a single devil face with three dimensional detail. The devils are portrayed with realistic features including a furrowed brow, parted lips revealing their teeth, pointed goatees, and small horns. Two ruby cabochons represent the devils' eyes, adding the perfect accent to the design. Each cufflink is stamped "14K" on the back and fastens with a gold-filled airplane back, which is stamped "1/20 14K G.F." A very unique pair of cufflinks, they would look fantastic worn by a woman or a man!
Measurements: Each devil face measures 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and 1/4" thick. The bars on the back measure approximately 5/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the ruby cabochons. The airplane backs are secure and in good working condition.
