A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Early Retro (ca1935) era! This gorgeous ring features a natural, unheated 1.50ct oval sapphire at the center of a beautiful platinum and diamond mounting. Surrounding the prong set sapphire is lovely diamond border, which forms a sparkling halo. Two baguette diamonds rest on either side of the sapphire, eight round diamonds form a curved row directly above and below. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .50ctw combined, with G-H range color and SI1-SI1 range clarity. Completing the design is a smooth platinum band with a cutout chevron airline visible from the side. A beautiful and feminine design, it would look gorgeous worn on special occasions, or could make a perfect gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.5 but could be easily be re-sized up or down. The sapphire and diamond centerpiece measures 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the sapphire and diamond stones, all of which are intact.
