Early Victorian 15kt Rose Cut Diamond Studs
A stunning pair of diamond studs from the early Victorian era (ca1850) era! Each earring frames a rose cut diamond at the center of a raised prong setting. The sparkling diamonds are foil-backed and surrounded by a fine bezel, where the prongs meet at the sides. On the back of each earring is a simple gold earring post, which completes the stylish design. The simplicity of the design is universally flattering, while maintaining the appeal of their unique Victorian appearance. A lovely pair of everyday diamond studs, they would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 5/16" in diameter and rests 1/4" high.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. Both rose cut diamonds are intact and securely set, and the posts on the back are securely attached. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold setting, which is normal for antique jewelry and adds to its unique beauty and character.
