Edwardian 14kt Mixed Metals Zircon Flower Bouquet Pendant w/ Chain
This beautiful mixed metals pendant necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this lovely piece is comprised of an elegant pendant that hangs from a fine link chain. The pendant is round in shape and hangs from an elongated complimentary double link surmount. The round, focal point of the pendant is medium sized and has a detailed floral bouquet image resting in the open center of its circular frame. The bouquet has fantastic detail including a textured weaved basket and handle, lush greenery and 2 roses which adorn a rose gold overlay, giving the piece a beautiful two-tone look. In the center is a vibrant blue zircon stone which is bezel set with an open back. The double link surmount has a fine geometric design and allows the pendant to hang long in a dramatic fashion. The pendant hangs from a fine gold-filled chain, which fastens at a spring ring clasp in the back. The back of the pendant is stamped "14K" and the chain clasp is stamped "14K N/C". A wonderful and artistic piece, it would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurement: The chain measures 15" long. The pendant hangs slightly more than 1 5/8" long and measures 3/4" across at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals gold setting and the zircon stone is intact. The gold-filled chain is in excellent condition, and the bail and spring ring clasp are secure.
