Edwardian Petite 14kt/Platinum Diamond + Natural Pearl Stud Earrings
A stunning pair of feminine diamond and pearl studs from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Each earring is crafted in platinum and holds a lustrous natural pearl at the center of a sparkling diamond border. The pearls exhibit a soft white color with a high surface luster, and appear to almost "float" within the center of the earring. Surrounding the pearl is a border of sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds, which are set in a milgrained bezel setting, catching the light beautifully with every turn. The combination of the diamonds and pearls is simply regal and the earrings have a classically beautiful look. Resting on the back of each is a 14kt yellow gold post and 10kt yellow gold tension earring backs, securely holding each stud to the center of the earlobe. The delicate and feminine design makes these earrings a perfect everyday choice that is also suitable for special occasions!
Measurements: Each earring measures approximately 3/8" in diameter and are about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and yellow gold posts. The pearls and diamonds are intact and securely set and the posts are secure and in good working order.
