A beautiful diamond bracelet from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 14kt gold, the bangle-style bracelet has a simple, yet stunning design. Lining the surface of the piece are beautiful rose cut diamonds, which carry all the way around the exterior in a fine pavé setting. The diamonds vary in size, color, and clarity, accentuating their beautiful natural appearance. Collectively, the weigh approximately 2.25ctw. Decorating the edges of the bangle is a beautiful hand engraved motif, a lovely and feminine finishing touch. A push clasp fastens the bracelet at the hinged side, where a latch and safety chain provide additional security when worn. An exquisite antique piece, it could be stacked with other complimentary bracelets for a layered look, and is suitable for daily wear or special occasions. It would make a gorgeous addition to any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 1/4" wide and 2" tall. It would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. The surface of the bracelet measures 1/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the rose cut diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set. The clasp, safety latch, and safety chain are secure and in good working condition. There is a natural untouched patina on the surface of the setting, which is normal and adds to the beauty and unique character of the piece. The diamonds vary naturally in appearance, attributed to their age and natural characteristics.
