Edwardian 18kt Carved Untreated Jadeite Floral Ring
A beautiful jadeite ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This beautiful ring is made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold and features an artistic untreated jadeite plaque that rests in the center of a decorative floral mounting. The natural, untreated jadeite displays a wonderful vivid green color marbled with a milky, pale green hue throughout. The surface of the jadeite is intricately hand-carved with soft cutout shapes that depict a lovely floral motif. Completing the design is an exceptional gold setting with lovely detail that includes an engraved wheat bezel setting and floral adornments at each shoulder. A very special Edwardian era piece, it has an impressive appearance when worn and would make a striking addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5 but could be easily resized if desired. The oval jadeite plaque measures 1" tall and 3/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or to the carved jadeite plaque.
