Edwardian 18kt Diamond Opal Heart Pendant
A stunning opal pendant from the Edwardian (1910) era! This delicate piece depicts a large, heart shaped opal which is surrounded by sparkling diamonds. The opal, which is vibrant in color with hues of green, pink, purple, blue and yellow, is bezel set in an 18kt white gold setting. An ornate diamond encrusted frame surrounds the opal heart and an intricate diamond encrusted floral topper rests at the top of the piece. The diamonds range in size and are either bezel or bead set throughout the piece. On the back of the piece is a simple gold bail. The piece has a beautiful and feminine design and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant measures approximately 1 5/8" tall, a little less than 1" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/4". The bail measures approximately 1/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the opal or gold setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
