Edwardian 18kt Mixed Metals Ruby Ring .25ct
A lovely mixed metals and ruby ring from the Edwardian (ca1901) era! This feminine ring is made of 18kt yellow and white gold, creating a stylish two-tone appearance. Resting at the center is a beautiful round ruby, which is prong set and weighs approximately .25ct. The ruby has a luscious color that stands out perfectly against the white gold prong setting! An engraved motif with fine milgrain detail and delicate cutouts decorates each shoulder, extending to a smooth yellow gold band in the back. Stamped inside the shank is "18CT PT SET". A wonderful and elegant design, it looks enchanting when worn. It could make a lovely everyday piece or a special gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25, but could be re-sized if desired. When worn, the ruby centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the mixed metals setting or to the ruby stone, which is secure and intact.
