Edwardian 18kt/Platinum Blue Zircon + Diamond Cluster Ring 1.25ct center
A gorgeous blue zircon and diamond cluster ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold and platinum, this beautiful piece features a 1.25ct natural blue zircon framed at the center of a sparkling diamond border. The prong-set stone displays a gorgeous vibrant blue color and has a double refraction, which allows it to catch and reflect the light beautifully when worn. A sparkling border of Single Cut diamonds encircles the center stone, collectively weighing 0.50ctw. The centerpiece is crafted in platinum and rests on a smoothly polished yellow gold band, creating a wonderful two-tone appeal. The band graduates slightly from the back towards the front and stamped inside of the shank is "18K" and "PLAT." A beautiful Edwardian piece, it is perfect to mark a special occasion, or it would make a stunning gemstone engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could be easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures a little under 1/2" in diameter and the ring rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. The blue zircon and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
