Edwardian 18kt Sapphire & Diamond Filigree Line Bracelet
A stunning line bracelet from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of 18kt white gold, this beautiful piece is comprised of 25 box links that have a beautiful filigree wirework design. Five of the links are detailed with a deep blue sapphire or sparkling diamond, which have an alternating pattern at the front of the piece. All five of the gemstones are held in diamond-shaped settings and add a wonderful element to the already lovely design! The filigree wirework is incredibly fine, complete with delicate milgrain detail and precise cutouts. The box links hinge together and move freely, forming a straight but flexible bracelet that wraps comfortably around the wrist. The piece opens and closes at a push clasp that is hidden seamlessly within one of the links, and there is also a hinged safety latch on the underside for added security, which is stamped "18K". A lovely and feminine design, it could be worn as a beautiful everyday piece or saved for special occasions!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long, 3/8" wide and 1/8" thick. It would fit nicely on an average sized wrist. The total pennyweight of the piece is 8.1 dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to any of the sapphires or diamonds, all of which are intact. The clasp and safety latch fasten securely and are in good working condition.
