Edwardian Mixed Metals Diamond, Ruby & Sapphire Cufflinks
A beautiful pair of mixed metals cufflinks from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum-topped 14kt yellow gold, these double-sided cufflinks have a lovely two-tone design with gemstone accents. Each cufflink face has a smooth platinum center, surrounded by a swirled repousse motif in yellow gold. Natural gemstones rest in the center, including two diamonds, a ruby, and a sapphire. The underside of each cufflink is stamped "14K" and is connected with a gold link. A classic pair of cufflinks, they would look fabulous worn by a distinguished gentleman!
Measurements: Each oval face measure 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. The connecting links measure 7/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting, repousse motif, or to the gemstones, all of which are intact. The connecting links are secure and in good condition. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold, which is normal for an antique piece and adds character and depth to the design.
