Edwardian Platinum & 18kt Sapphire Diamond Ring

SKU: 37444

A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning and unusual piece is made of platinum topped 18kt yellow gold and has three Square Cut sapphires that rest horizontally across the top of the ring. The sapphires are channel set within a box setting, coming together to form a long rectangular top surface with pointed ends. Resting on both sides of the 3 center stones are 2 Triangular Cut sapphires, creating an elongated and lovely design. Framing the sapphires is a row of sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds which are set in platinum and frame the hexagonal surface. Simple gold beads rest on either shoulder, completing the design perfectly. The ring is simply marvelous and would look beautiful worn everyday or could make a stunning engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25 but could easily be re-sized. The rectangular top surface of the ring measures 3/4" wide and 3/8" tall.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum topped gold setting and all of the stones are intact.
