Edwardian Platinum/14kt Choker Length Watch Chain Necklace 12.25"
A gorgeous mixed metals watch chain from the Edwardian (ca1900s) era! This beautiful necklace is comprised of fancy, elongated 14kt rose gold links that alternate with sections of platinum chain. The necklace fastens together with two clasps, a large spring ring clasp and a watch swivel, which could be worn at the back of the neck or used to hang a complimentary pendant or locket if desired. The double clasp design also allows for you to attach the piece to another chain for a longer option. A beautiful piece, it would look equally lovely worn alone as a choker, paired with other chains for a layered look, or as an extension for another necklace. Both versatile and stylish, it would make a perfect addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 12 3/8" long. Each elongated gold link measures approximately 3/8" long and 1/16" thick. Each platinum link measures approximately 3/16" long and 1/16" thick. The total necklace weight is 21.2 grams.
Condition: The overall condition of the chain is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum links. Both the spring ring clasp and the watch swivel clasp fasten securely and are in good working condition.
