Edwardian Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 3.01ct
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian era (ca1910) era! This stunning platinum ring holds a sparkling 3.01ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set and has M color and VS2 clarity. Delicate accent diamonds line the cathedral-style shoulders, the perfect compliment to the central stone! Each accent diamond is individually bezel set within a milgrained border. Completing the design is a smooth and simple band, which is stamped with a French mask hallmark on the exterior, indicating imported platinum work. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in July 2017, and has a stated retail replacement value of $28,000.00. When worn, the ring is positively radiant, delivering a spectacular sparkle. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7, but could easily be resized up or down if desired. The center stone rests approximately 5/16" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
