Edwardian 18kt Diamond Stud Earrings 0.50ctw
A beautiful and delicate pair of diamond studs from the Edwardian era (ca1910)! Each earring is crafted in 18kt white gold and has a simple design that frames a diamond at the center of an open circle. The diamonds are old Mine Cuts, weighing approximately 0.25ct each, with estimated I-J range color and SI range clarity. The 4-prong setting is attached to the open circular border, and simple posts on the back complete the design. The post of each earrings is stamped "585." A perfect pair of everyday studs, they would make a quintessential addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: Each circular diamond setting (including the open border) measures about 5mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is great. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold settings and both diamonds are securely set. There is a chip along the surface of one of the diamonds that can not be seen when the earrings are worn and only visible under careful examination with a jewelers loupe.
