Edwardian Platinum Ruby & Diamond Filigree Necklace .50ct
A beautiful filigree necklace from the Edwardian (ca1910) period! This lovely platinum necklace features 6 delicate ruby links and a sparkling diamond at the center. Each gemstone is suspended within an open wirework halo, creating a "floating" appearance. The luscious rubies have beautiful natural color and alternate with feminine filigree links. At the center is a gorgeous mine cut diamond, which weighs approximately .50ct and has estimated J-K range color and SI1-SI2 range clarity. The chain fastens with a simple spring ring clasp at the back, and rests elegantly at the neckline when worn. It would make a special gift and is perfect for day or night wear!
Measurements: The chain measures 16" in length, and diamond pendant hangs approximately 1/4" long at the center.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamond and rubies are all intact and securely set, and are free of surface chips or scratches. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
