Edwardian Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Ring 2.91ct center

SKU: 32802

An incredible and unusual diamond and sapphire ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum, this pear-shaped ring features a single round sapphire in the center, surrounded by a sparkling pave diamond encrusted border. The sapphire, which weighs approximately 2.91ct., has a wonderful deep blue color and stands out dramatically against the diamond background. The diamonds are old Mine Cuts and have a total approximate weight of 1ctw. The unique teardrop design of the ring is both interesting and eye-catching! A beautiful wirework design completes the gallery of the ring and beautiful engraving with milgrained detail accents the shoulders and band. The inside of the shank is stamped "50% IRID. PLATINUM". The ring comes with the official AGL report from March 2014 which evaluates the sapphire and confirms that it is a natural stone. This dazzling ring looks stunning when worn and would make an eye-catching addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7, however it could be easily re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the sapphire and all of the diamonds are intact.
