Edwardian Platinum/14kt Diamond Earrings
A lovely and delicate pair of earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Each earring is crafted in platinum-topped yellow gold, and has a feminine chandelier design. Sparkling rose cut diamonds cover the surface, resting in a fine pave setting. Three old Mine Cut diamonds are bezel set and dangle freely from the base, adding lovely movement when worn. Fine airline cutouts and milgrain detail provide beautiful finishing touches. On the back of each surmount is a simple earring post and back. These wonderful Edwardian earrings would look perfect for special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/4" long and measure 5/16" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and in good condition. The earring posts and backs are secure.
