Edwardian Mixed Metals Sapphire & Diamond Cufflinks
Beautiful sapphire and diamond cufflinks from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! Made of platinum-topped 14kt yellow gold, these double sided cufflinks have a beautiful and delicate design. The face of each oval is covered with a fine etched design, including engine turned stripes in the center and a leaf motif that encircles the outside border. Resting in the center of each oval is a .40 ct. cabochon sapphire on one side, and a sparkling .30 ct. diamond on the reverse side. The underside of each cuff displays smooth yellow gold setting, and a gold bar links the two together. Both bars are marked "14K GOLD & PLAT". A classic pair of cufflinks, they would look fabulous worn by a distinguished gentleman!
Measurements: Each oval face measure 3/4" long and 1/2" wide. The space in between each cufflink measures 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting or to the sapphires and diamonds, all of which are intact.
