Art Deco Platinum & Marquise Diamond "Gavel" Charm .50ctw
This diamond gavel charm from the Art Deco era (ca1930s) is a fun and delightful piece! Crafted in platinum, the design depicts a miniature judge's gavel with an incredible diamond encrusted surface. A marquise diamond rests within the head of the mallet, which is framed by a smooth platinum border, and is attached to a slender handle. The marquise diamond weighs approximately .35ct, with estimated H-I color and SI1 range clarity. Lining the handle are an additional 9 accent diamonds, adding further sparkle to the already radiant design! A simple platinum bail is attached to the top, making it possible to hang the charm from a chain or attach it to a bracelet. A wonderfully detailed piece, it would be perfect for any charm collector!
Measurements: The charm measures 1" long, including the platinum loop at the top. The gavel itself measures approximately 3/4" tall, 3/8" wide at the base, and 1/8" wide across the handle.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
