Late Art Deco Platinum Diamond Geometric Ring 0.80ctw
This stunning ring is a wonderful piece from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Made of platinum, the ring has a substantial elongated geometric design with an elaborate stacked look. Resting in a vertical row at the center is a Navette Cut diamond which isezel set and weighs approximately 0.18ct. The stone rests within the center elongated bar which is also accented with 10 additional Single Cut stones. Forming a tiered design, the tall center bar is framed by 4 additional stacked bars, 2 resting on either side. These bars are detailed with 16 additional Single Cut diamonds and 2 Baguette Cut stones. The exquisite design that surrounds the center stones is complete with fine wirework detail, geometric cutouts, and delicate milgraining. In total, the diamonds have a total approximate carat weight of 0.80ctw, color in the H-I range and clarity in the VS1-VS2 range. The overall design is striking and reminiscent of the style from "The Great Gatsby". Stamped inside the shank is "ROR" and "PLATINUM". A very intricate and bold ring, it would look gorgeous worn on special occasions, or could make a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5.5, but it could be easily re-sized if desired. The centerpiece of the ring measures 3/4" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and the diamond stones are intact.
