Late Art Deco Sterling Faceted Crystal Ball Earrings
A gorgeous pair of crystal earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! Japanese in origin, each of these striking earrings has a sparkling appearance with a very unique design. Dangling from the bottom is a crystal ball formed by a cluster of multiple square-shaped crystals. Each crystal is bezel set in an open-backed sterling setting. The 3-dimensional crystal balls hang from a strand of fine chain attached to a simple earring wire and faceted crystal surmount. Perfect earrings for day or night wear, they would make a beautiful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each crystal earrings hangs approximately 2" long and is 3/4" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the faceted crystals. The earring wires and crystal surmounts are secure and intact.
