Late Victorian 14kt Gemstone Horseshoe Necklace
A gorgeous gemstone horseshoe pendant from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! This stylish piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a smooth surface with a colorful multi gemstone design. Each gemstone represents one of the 7 "nails" on the face of the horseshoe (always 7 for good luck!). Included in the ensemble of gems are two luscious rubies, two vibrant emeralds, and three sparkling cushion mine cut diamonds. The horseshoe pendant hangs from a contemporary gold cable chain, which fastens with a spring ring clasp stamped "14K". A very fashionable and attractive piece, it blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would make a perfect everyday accessory. Both beautiful and versatile, it is perfect for the equestrian enthusiast or vintage jeweler collector!
Measurements: The horseshoe measures 7/8" tall and wide, and the chain measures 18" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold horseshoe pendant or to any of the gemstones, all of which are intact. The chain and clasp are secure and in good working condition.
