Late Victorian 14kt Moonstone Cufflinks
A wonderful pair of moonstone cufflinks from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! These double-sided cufflinks are crafted in 14kt gold, and display 4 beautiful moonstone cabochons. Each moonstone is bezel set in gold, and has a lovely pearly blue color and iridescent flash. The foil backing behind the stones accentuates their alluring appearance! A gold loop connects the cufflinks together, and a small "14" stamp can be found on the back of each setting. A lovely and versatile pair of cufflinks, they would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!
Measurements: Each moonstone link measures 1/2" in diameter, and is 1/4" thick. The space in between each link measures 5/8" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the moonstones, all four of which are intact and securely set. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold setting, and some light discoloration to the original foil backing. These characteristics are normal for antique jewelry, and do not detract from the appearance or beauty of the design.
