Late Victorian 14kt Pearl & Diamond Filigree Pendant
A lovely gold pendant from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! This beautiful 14kt gold piece holds a delicate old Mine Cut diamond at the center of a fine filigree design. The diamond is held in a raised buttercup prong setting, and is accented by two natural seed pearls directly above and below. A diamond-shaped wirework frame holds the centerpiece in place, while an intricate latticework filigree pattern comprises the oval border. At the top of the pendant is a simple fluted bail. This beautiful and feminine pendant would look perfect worn on a simple gold chain and would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/8" long, measures 5/8" at the widest point, and is 1/16” thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the diamond and pearls are all intact. The bail is secure and in good condition.
