Late Victorian 14kt Pearl & Enamel Earring & Necklace Set
A beautiful earring and necklace set from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! This lovely three piece set is crafted in 14kt gold and has a wonderful matching design. A row of natural Mississippi River pearls surrounds an enameled disc at the center, which is vibrant royal blue with a glossy finish. A single pearl is riveted securely through the middle, and at the top of each link is a complimentary pearl surmount. The earrings hang from clasped gold earring wires, and the matching pendant hangs from a simple gold bail. The modern gold chain fastens with a spring ring clasp stamped "ROMA NY 14K." A beautiful Victorian set, the earrings and pendant are simply stunning when worn together!
Measurements: Each pearl and enamel link has a 7/8" diameter and is approximately 3/16" thick. The earrings hang 1 5/8" long, including the wires. The pendant hangs 1 3/8" long, including the bail. The gold chain measures 15" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the earring and necklace set is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enameled detail, which is free of any significant chips or scratches. All of the pearls are intact and securely strung. The gold chain is in good condition, and the spring ring clasp fastens securely.
