A wonderful multi coin bracelet from the late Victorian era (ca1900)! This unique charm bracelet is comprised of 7 antique silver coins that hang from a strand of textured link chain made by Napier. The compilation of coins includes a variety of sizes, currencies, dates (1860, 1882, 1907, and 1934) and varying countries of origin (Haiti, Luxembourg, and Switzerland). When worn, the bracelet wraps around the wrist, fastening with a modern spring ring clasp marked "STERLING." Stamped on the final bracelet link is "NAPIER." The variety of coins dangle in a graduated fashion, with the largest pieces at the center and the smallest at the ends. A very stylish bracelet, it makes a wonderful statement piece that would appeal to any history lover or coin collector!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/2" long, and would fit nicely on an average to large sized wrist. The coins vary in size, with the largest measuring 1 1/8" in diameter, and the smallest measuring 5/8" in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the chain links or coin charms, and the clasp is secure and in good working condition. There is a patina on the surface of the piece that gives a darkened antique appearance to the silver. This is normal for antique jewelry and adds to its unique character.
