Late Victorian Petite 14kt Pearl & Demantoid Garnet Leaf Pendant
A lovely and delicate pendant from the Late Victorian era (ca1900)! This petite pendant features a natural pearl held within a platinum-topped 14kt gold setting. Leaf-like branches surround the pearl, each adorned with a beautiful demantoid garnet stone. The vivid green demantoid garnet accents are the perfect compliment to the shimmery white pearl! A fine stem protrudes from the base of the piece, and a hidden bail can be found on the back. Originally an antique stick pin, this charming piece is a lovely example of an antique conversion piece. A perfect everyday piece, it would look beautiful worn on a fine gold chain or paired with other charms!
Measurements: The charm measures 1/2" tall and wide, and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum-topped gold setting. The pearl and demantoid garnets are all intact and free of any apparent chips or scratches.
