Late Victorian Sterling Horseshoe & Horse Bit Motif Cufflinks

SKU: 38032

$395
A wonderful pair of equestrian-inspired cufflinks from the late Victorian (ca1900) era! The cufflinks are crafted in sterling silver, and have a stylish horseshoe motif that is raised above the surface. The ends of the horseshoe interlock with a set of horse bits, creating an interesting visual effect! A curved bar and puffed oval link rest on the back, completing the design. The word "STERLING" is stamped on the back of each cufflink and along the side of the curved bar. A fantastic pair of everyday cufflinks, they are perfect for the equestrian enthusiast, and would look fabulous worn by a man or woman!

Measurements: Each cufflink face measures approximately 5/8" long and 1/2" wide. The overall length of the entire cufflink measures 7/8".

Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or raised motif. A natural patina rests on the surface of the silver, giving a darkened antique appearance to the setting. This is normal for Victorian era jewelry and adds depth to the design.
