Late Victorian Sterling Seed Pearl Wedgwood Style Pendant
This beautiful yet simple pendant rom the late Victorian (ca1900) era. This necklace is comprised of a Wedgwood style pendant that hangs from a delicate sterling chain. The oval-shaped pendant has a look similar to a Wedgwood piece, including a rich cornflower blue background with a white figural design in the center. Five angelic cherubs are depicted in the center of the piece, complete with incredibly fine detail representing curled hair and feathered wings. Hanging below the pendant are four natural seed pearls that dangle from strands of fine sterling chain. At the back of the necklace is a simple spring ring clasp marked "925". A delicate and beautiful necklace, it would look lovely worn everyday and is perfect for any collector!
Measurements: The necklace measures 17" long. The oval pendant hangs 1 1/4" long and measures 1 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, stoneware, or pearls, and the clasp is in good working condition.
