Edwardian 14kt Lavender Jade Ring
A simply beautiful lavender jade ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! The ring holds a lovely lavender jade cabochon stone at the center of a 14kt gold mounting. The lavender jade is bezel set and displays a soft, translucent milky purple color. Wrapped around the outside of the bezel is a gold twisted rope design, and a decorative pillar design is found where the band meets the shoulders of the ring. Stamped on the outside of the shank are three small hallmarks, which may possibly be of Austrian origin. The simplicity of the design and unusual color of the jade make this ring a wonderful and very wearable everyday piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7.25, but could easily be re-sized. The lavender jade center measures approximately 7/8" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold mounting or to the lavender jade stone, which is intact.
