Product Details

The name Lucien Piccard is known worldwide for excellence in watchmaking. A Swiss company founded in 1923, it used a variety of innovative techniques, creating some of the first slim-line timepieces and incorporating gemstones into the designs. Lucien Piccard watches have been worn by royalty and high profile celebrities throughout the years, but the company also crafted beautiful pieces of jewelry, which are now very appealing to Vintage collectors and lovers of Retro fashion!

This fabulous locket/pendant is a signed Lucien Piccard piece from the late Retro (ca1950) era! Made of palladium, this round pendant has an attractive reversible design. The face of the pendant features the large letter "K" in the center, formed by white cultured pearls. At either side is a filigree design that is comprised of palladium letters spelling the word "KISSABLE." The reverse side of the piece has an open clear plastic face, which can be removed to store a special photograph inside. The pendant hangs from a simple loop bail, making it easy to hang and wear from a favorite chain. This piece was likely included as inventory in a store's old stock, and still comes with the original Lucien Piccard tag. This wonderful piece by a legendary maker would look fantastic worn everyday and could make a lovely gift for someone special!

Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/4" long, has an approximate 1" diameter, and is 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the palladium setting or to the cultured pearls, all of which are intact. The bail is secure and the removable clear plastic back is in good condition.
