Victorian 14kt Silver Moonstone Diamond Necklace
An exquisite moonstone and diamond pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is made of silver-topped 14kt gold and holds a large moonstone at the center of a diamond halo. The moonstone is bezel set and has a lovely clear blue color with iridescent flashes. The diamonds that surround the moonstone are Rose Cuts, which weigh approximately 1.10ctw. The pendant hangs from a complimentary 3-stone diamond bail, which finishes the piece beautifully. It hangs from a modern white gold chain, which fastens with a lobster clasp stamped "14K." A gorgeous and very feminine Victorian piece, it would look beautiful worn everyday or on special occasions!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/4" long (including the bail), has a 3/4" diameter, and is 1/4" thick. The chain measures approximately 18" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver-topped gold setting, moonstone, or diamonds, all of which are intact. The bail is secure, as is the chain and lobster clasp.
