This Mid Century bracelet is a signed piece from the 1960s by Danish artist Neils Erik From! Crafted in sterling silver, the bracelet has a simple, yet stylish Modernist design. A pattern of circular links form a flexible bracelet, which wraps comfortably around the wrist. Each concave link consists of two saucers, one resting inside the other. A sterling beadwork accent rests in the center, completing the look. A darkened patina rests within the grooves of the design, adding further depth to the 3-dimensional detail. A toggle clasp fastens the bracelet together at the end. Stamped underneath the final link are several markings, which include: "STERLING DENMARK N.E. FROM 925 S." This versatile bracelet is an excellent example of the Scandinavian Modernist movement. Perfect for everyday wear, it would look wonderful layered with other complimentary sterling pieces!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 8" long, and would fit best on a large sized wrist. Each circular link measures 5/8" in diameter, and is 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting. There is a natural patina on the surface of the silver setting, which is normal for vintage jewelry, and adds to its beauty and unique appearance.
