Victorian 15kt Pearl Horseshoe Necklace
A gorgeous gold horseshoe pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 15kt yellow gold and has a smooth surface with a raised 7-nail design (always 7 for good luck). Representing each nail is a single natural pearl, all of which are set within a box setting, resting within a shallow groove along the surface. The horseshoe, which was once a pin, has since been converted to a pendant and hangs from a complimentary modern 14kt gold chain. The chain fastens in the back with a simple lobster clasp. A very fashionable and attractive piece, it blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would look perfect worn everyday. Both beautiful and versatile, it is perfect for the equestrian enthusiast and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The horseshoe measures 1 1/4" tall, is 1 1/8" at the widest point and has a depth of 1/8". The chain measures 18.5" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold pendant or to the chain and all of the white pearls are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
